The shock absorber test rig is used to determine the stiffness and damping characteristics of suspension components. The hydraulically actuated test rig allows to prescribe arbitrary displacement profile and the resulting forces are measured using a load cell.

WATER COOLING TOWER TEST RIG : Make: XEEPL,Model: RAC 011-BDESCRIPTION: Experimental water-cooling tower is aforced draft counter flow type cooling tower speciallydesigned for the Engineering students to provide theminsight about actual working of tower. In this system, airfrom a fan enters at the bottom of the tower and afterpassing through the mesh packing, discharges into theatmosphere via a duct. Airflow is controlled by a butterflyvalve on the blower's delivery line. Water is evenlydistributed over the packing by nozzles at top of the tower.Water flow and temperatures can be measured andcontrolled with suitable instrumentation provided. A watertank at the bottom fitted with level gauge enables to showthe exact evaporation loss. Front side acrylic sheet providesactual visualization of cooling tower operation. Air andwater flow rates as well as inlet water temperatures can bevaried to have different sets of readings.
